Neuspeed 6-Piston 370mm Big Brake Kit (Front) – VW / Mk8 / 8Y / S3 / Golf R – 99.10.50.2

Presenting the enhanced NEUSPEED 6-Piston Big Brake Kit, a comprehensive caliper replacement system meticulously crafted, engineered, machined, and assembled in the USA, exclusively tailored for Audi and Volkswagen vehicles.

Addressing a common concern with factory brakes, where calipers typically consist of a single large piston and exhibit floating characteristics, this kit serves as a transformative solution. By replacing the subpar factory calipers with a Forged 6-Piston Caliper kit, it not only rectifies the inherent issues but also elevates pedal modulation and substantially enhances stopping performance. Experience a new level of braking precision and reliability with the NEUSPEED 6-Piston Big Brake Kit – an embodiment of American craftsmanship and automotive excellence.

Features

CNC Machined & Forged Aluminum Caliper Body

The NEUSPEED Caliper sets the benchmark with its construction from CNC machined Forged 6061-T6 aluminum alloy. Leveraging the forging process, the material grain structure undergoes realignment, resulting in exceptional strength and notable weight reduction when compared to both casted and billet calipers. This meticulous engineering ensures not only robust performance but also a significant advancement in the realm of braking technology.

Stainless Steel Pistons

Our pistons, crafted from high-quality Stainless-Steel metals, surpass their aluminum counterparts in both strength and rigidity. This choice of material not only enhances durability but also mitigates expansion during intense motorsport and competition driving scenarios.

Internal Seals System

NEUSPEED Calipers boast a cutting-edge design with dual internal piston seals. The hydraulic seals, crafted from high-temperature-resistant composite material, exhibit remarkable resilience against fatigue from regular daily use and endure the rigors of high-temperature competition scenarios. Reinforcing the system’s durability, the second seal, also composed of the same material, provides a protective barrier against external contaminants like dust and moisture. This innovative ‘Internal Dust Seal’ system stands as a superior alternative to the conventional external shield/boot system, ensuring unmatched durability and performance.

Matched Caliper

NEUSPEED, as a dedicated VW/Audi tuning company, takes precision to a new level with calipers meticulously engineered to seamlessly pair with VAG factory master cylinders. In stark contrast to other brake manufacturers, we refrain from a one-size-fits-all approach by carefully selecting and tuning our 6-piston calipers to cater specifically to each VW and Audi model. This attention to detail prevents the issues associated with mismatched caliper sizes, such as a spongy or overly sensitive pedal feel. Our commitment to precision ensures optimal pedal modulation, allowing for precise and responsive braking points—a crucial element in elevating your driving experience.

Quick Pad Change System

The NEUSPEED caliper, crafted by enthusiasts for enthusiasts, prioritizes convenience and efficiency in its design. At the forefront of our engineering considerations is the ability to swiftly and conveniently swap brake pads. Facilitating this seamless process is the removable bridge-pin and pins system, enabling users to swap pads without the need to remove the caliper entirely. With a straightforward procedure involving unbolting the top bridge, undoing the guide pins, and sliding out the pads, the entire operation takes a mere 15 minutes. Experience the ease of maintenance and customization with NEUSPEED – where every detail is designed to enhance the enthusiast experience.

Pad Wear Sensor Compatible (If Equipped)

The NEUSPEED big brake kit seamlessly integrates with the VW/Audi factory sensor kit, eliminating the need for users to splice and bridge the sensor connector to prevent error lights on the dashboard. This ensures a genuine OEM replacement experience.

Aerospace Grade Mounting Bracket

Crafted from steel metal, this component features a protective black epoxy coating designed to safeguard against corrosion and degradation.

High-Quality Hardware

Each NEUSPEED Brake Kit encompasses stainless steel braided PTFE core brake lines, accompanied by stainless steel fittings. The kit is further complemented with stainless steel bleeder valves, guide pins, connecting tube, and robust 12.9-grade mounting bolts for a comprehensive and high-performance braking solution.

Notes

We highly recommend the utilization of Cerakote H-Series Coatings for our calipers and brake kits. For detailed information regarding color options and coating resistances, please refer to the provided technical data sheet below. It is important to note that the color stability temperature ranges mentioned are WITHOUT clear coat. If a clear coat is applied, these temperatures can be exceeded. Kindly be advised that the CUSTOM CERAKOTE OPTION is considered a final sale.

Other

•  NEUSPEED holds no responsibility for wheel fitment and brake clearance issues. We cannot guarantee proper fitment with either factory or aftermarket wheels, including NEUSPEED RS Wheels. It is essential to thoroughly review our caliper template to confirm clearance, available here. In some cases, factory wheels may necessitate a minimum 15mm spacer for adequate caliper clearance.
• Compatibility with the TT RS Rotor Shield requires slight bending to clear the lower part of the caliper, referencing Part #’s 8V0-615-311-B and 8V0-615-312-B.
